Howa HGR72513 M1500 Hogue Full Size 6.5 Creedmoor 5+1 22″ Stainless Steel Threaded Barrel, Drilled & Tapped Stainless Steel Receiver, Hogue OverMolded OD Green Synthetic Stock, Right Hand

Description

The Howa Hogue Full Size is a bolt action in 6.5mm Creedmoor with a 22" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The 6.5mm Creedmoor is commonly chosen for long-range target shooting and deer-sized game. It became the default precision cartridge because it delivers high-BC bullets with modest recoil and good barrel life.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.

The combination of the high precision HOWA 1500 and the ergonomic Hogue OverMolded stock is a perfect blend for a lightweight, entry level match or sporting rifle you can depend on. The soft, tactile grip of the Hogue stock comes with pillar bedding and recoil pad. And the HOWA 1500 brings with it, cold hammer forged barrel, steel forged bolt and receiver, sling swivel studs, HACT 2-stage trigger and three-position safety.
