Christensen Arms 8011001200 Traverse 7mm Rem Mag 3+1 26″ Threaded Barrel, Natural Stainless, Black with Gray Webbing Stock

Description

The Christensen Arms Traverse is a bolt action in 7 mm Remington Magnum with a 26" barrel, a 1:9 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes integrated base, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.

Bolt actions are commonly chosen for hunting and target shooting, where the simpler mechanism and rigid lockup are valued.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.

The Traverse elevates our backcountry rifle offerings with time-honored styling and performance. The Monte-Carlo carbon fiber composite gunstock gives it a classic feel, while the light target contour Christensen Arms carbon fiber wrapped barrel, stainless steel side-baffle brake, 0-MOA optic rail, and bottom picatinny rail ensure state-of-the-art operation. The Traverse weighs in starting at 7.3 pounds and is backed by the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA Guarantee.
