The Cold Steel Spike features a 4" Cryo 4116 stainless blade, drop point, plain edge, black finish.
Stainless scales are durable and easy to clean, though heavier than polymer.
A fixed blade of this size suits hunting, camp and outdoor work where strength matters more than pocketability – there is no pivot to fail and it cleans easily.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 4.0" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm.
