The Spyderco Para Military 2 features a 3.42" CPM S45VN stainless blade, clip point, plain edge, textured G-10 handle, black finish.

The blade is CPM S45VN SS, a premium American powder steel that improves on S35VN with better corrosion resistance and edge retention – among the best all-round folder steels made. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate: light, dimensionally stable, and grippy even wet.

A blade in this range handles heavier everyday tasks and light outdoor work while still carrying comfortably clipped in a pocket.

Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 3.42" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it.
