The Hammerli Arms Force B1 is a semi-auto in .22 LR with a 16.1" barrel and 10-round capacity plus one chambered.

Rimfire velocity peaks in the high teens of barrel length, so a barrel this short gives up very little and keeps the rifle light and quick to handle.

The .22 LR is commonly chosen for small game, training and high-volume practice. Ammunition is cheap enough to shoot all day, which is why it remains the standard first rifle and the standard practice rifle.
