The SOG S.O.G Seal Fx features a 4.30" CPM S35VN stainless blade, clip point, serrated edge, glass-reinforced nylon handle, black finish.

The blade is CPM S35VN SS, a refined powder steel that keeps the edge retention of S30V while being meaningfully easier to sharpen. A serrated edge bites into rope, webbing and fibrous material far better than a plain edge, and stays aggressive long after a plain edge has dulled. Stainless scales are durable and easy to clean, though heavier than polymer.

A fixed blade of this size suits hunting, camp and outdoor work where strength matters more than pocketability – there is no pivot to fail and it cleans easily.

Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 4.3" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm. Keep the blade dry and the pivot clean, and touch the edge up on a strop or fine stone before it gets properly dull – it is far less work than bringing back a blunt edge.
