Description

The Marlin 1894 is a lever action in .357 MAGNUM with an 18.63" barrel, a 1:16 twist and 10-round capacity.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize. It comes with brass bead w/ hood front/adj. semi-buckhorn sights.

The .357 MAGNUM is commonly chosen for revolver shooting, hunting and defense. Substantial power and muzzle blast; most revolvers chambered for it will also fire lighter .38 Special.
