Description
The Ruger / Sturm, Ruger & Co. Offset is a 1 inch scope mount in med height.
Ring diameter has to match the scope tube exactly. This is 1 inch, so it fits a scope with a 1 inch tube and no other – a ring will not close around a larger tube and will not hold a smaller one.
Height determines how high the scope sits above the receiver. It has to be tall enough for the objective bell to clear the barrel and suit the shooter's cheek weld; too tall costs a consistent head position, too low will not clear the bell at all.
