The DPMS PANTHER ARMS 556 is an AR-pattern rifle in .223 REM/5.56 NATO with a 13.5" barrel, a 1:7 twist and 30-round capacity plus one chambered.
A carbine-length barrel keeps the firearm maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes with magpul mbus front & rear sights.
