The Century Arms AP5 is a semi-auto in 9mm with an 8.9" barrel, a 1:9.8 twist and 30-round capacity plus one chambered.
A carbine-length barrel keeps the pistol maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. It comes with iron sights.
The 9mm is commonly chosen for range practice, competition and carry. The most widely available centerfire handgun round, which keeps practice affordable and ammunition easy to find.
