The Century Arms AP53 is a semi-auto in .223 REM/5.56 NATO with an 8.3" barrel and 30-round capacity.

A carbine-length barrel keeps the pistol maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. It comes with iron sights.

The .223 REM is commonly chosen for varmints, predators and target work. Cheap, widely available and light on recoil, which makes it an easy cartridge to shoot well.
