Description
The CRKT 7100 Venandi features a 3.14" 8Cr13MoV stainless blade, clip point, plain edge, G-10 handle, black finish.
The blade is 8Cr13MoV SS, a budget-friendly Chinese stainless that sharpens easily and resists rust well, though it needs touching up more often than premium steels. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate: light, dimensionally stable, and grippy even wet.
Around three inches is the everyday carry sweet spot – long enough for boxes, cord, food prep and general utility, short enough to disappear in a pocket.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 3.14" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm. Keep the blade dry and the pivot clean, and touch the edge up on a strop or fine stone before it gets properly dull – it is far less work than bringing back a blunt edge.
Knifemaker Richard Rogers goes back to his roots of creating timeless, simple, yet sophisticated designs. The Venandi is exactly that. Dubbed a Latin name that translates to hunter, this classic slip joint folding knife features a clip point blade thats strong enough to hold its own. Just big enough to tackle all types of jobs. Features high carbon stainless steel blade takes an edge well; nail nick for ease of opening; slip joint mechanism opens and closes with two hands and G10 handle provides exceptional grip in all conditions.
