The Nemo Omen Watchman is a semi-auto in .300 Winchester Magnum with a 24" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 13-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor.

The .300 Winchester Magnum is commonly chosen for elk, large game and long-range work. Significant energy at distance, and significant recoil with it.
