The Sig Sauer MPX is a semi-auto in 9mm with a 4.5" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 35-round capacity.

This is a full-size handgun barrel length – more velocity and a longer sight radius than a compact, in exchange for size. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.

The 9mm is commonly chosen for range practice, competition and carry. The most widely available centerfire handgun round, which keeps practice affordable and ammunition easy to find.
