The Barrett Firearms C 6.5CRD Conversion is a pistol conversion kit.

A conversion kit is a chassis the pistol drops into. The pistol keeps its own frame, slide, barrel and trigger – the kit adds a longer sighting radius, a forend and rail space, and it can be removed to return the pistol to standard.

IMPORTANT: how you configure it decides what it legally is. Fitted with a brace it remains a pistol. Fit an actual shoulder stock to a pistol with a barrel under 16 inches and the result is a short-barreled rifle – an NFA item that requires an approved tax stamp BEFORE assembly, not after. If you are unsure which parts you have, ask us first.
