The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed Carbon is a bolt action in 6.8 Western with a 20" barrel, a 1:7 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.

Bolt actions are commonly chosen for hunting and target shooting, where the simpler mechanism and rigid lockup are valued.
