Description
The Banish Devour Supressor Cover is a suppressor cover, 10" long.
A cover is a heat-resistant sleeve that goes over the can. It does two jobs: it holds the mirage off your sight picture, because heat coming off a hot suppressor rises straight through the line of sight and boils the target, and it keeps a can that has been shot hard from burning a hand or a sling.
It does not make the host quieter and it does not cool the suppressor – it slows the heat reaching the outside, which is why a covered can stays hot longer than a bare one.
Fit is by LENGTH and diameter, not by brand: measure the tube you are covering. A cover must never be run on a suppressor the maker has not cleared for one, and never on a can that is already glowing – trapped heat is how baffles get damaged.
This is a part, not a regulated item. Mounts, pistons, caps and muzzle devices are not NFA-controlled and ship directly to your address – the suppressor itself is the registered item.
