Description
The Thompson Center Arms, LLC Shockwave is a muzzleloading projectile.
This is a muzzleloading projectile. It is loaded down the bore on top of a powder charge rather than into a case, so there is no cartridge involved at any point.
Bore size has to match – .50 and .54 are the common ones – and a sabot design carries a smaller-diameter bullet inside a plastic sleeve, which means the sabot has to suit the bore as well as the bullet.
Follow the rifle maker's charge limits, and the projectile maker's. Muzzleloading charges are set by the gun, not by a cartridge case.
Sold in a quantity of 15.
These are handloading components, not loaded ammunition. They ship directly to your address.
