Browning 036080211 X-Bolt 2 Medallion 243 Win 4+1 22″ Blue Polished Threaded Barrel & Drilled & Tapped Carbon Steel Receiver, Fixed Gloss AAAA Maple Wood Stock, Radial Muzzle Brake

Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Medallion 243 is a bolt action in .243 Winchester with a 22" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.

The .243 Winchester is commonly chosen for deer and varmints. A common choice for younger or recoil-sensitive shooters that still handles deer-sized game.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.

With the Browning X-Bolt 2 Medallion experience total accuracy and the extreme elegance. This bolt-action hunting rifle features a AAAA white maple stock with rosewood caps and a gloss finish. Gloss blued receiver with scroll engraving. Sporter-weight barrel with radial muzzle brake. X-Lock Scope Mounting System uses four screws per base for rock-solid attachment to the receiver.
