Browning 036080299 X-Bolt 2 Medallion 6.8 Western 3+1 24″ Blue Polished Threaded Barrel & Drilled & Tapped Carbon Steel Receiver, Fixed Gloss AAAA Maple Wood Stock, Radial Muzzle Brake

Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Medallion 6.8 is a bolt action in 6.8 Western with a 24" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.

Bolt actions are commonly chosen for hunting and target shooting, where the simpler mechanism and rigid lockup are valued.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.

With the Browning X-Bolt 2 Medallion experience total accuracy and the extreme elegance. This bolt-action hunting rifle features a AAAA white maple stock with rosewood caps and a gloss finish. Gloss blued receiver with scroll engraving. Sporter-weight barrel with radial muzzle brake. X-Lock Scope Mounting System uses four screws per base for rock-solid attachment to the receiver. Includes radial muzzle brake and thread protector.
