Browning 036122298 X-Bolt 2 Special Max LR SPR Full Size 7mm PRC 3+1 22″ Matte Black Heavy Sporter Threaded Barrel, Matte Black Steel Drilled & Tapped Receiver, OD Green/Black Adjustable Max Synthetic

Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Special Max is a bolt action in 7MM PRC with a 22" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The 7MM PRC is commonly chosen for open-country hunting at extended range. Flat trajectory and substantial energy, with recoil to match.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.
