The Mossberg Patriot 2506 Bl/Sy is a bolt action in .25-06 Remington with a 22" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.
