The Riven Eclipse Elk Bugle Tube is a game call.
A game call imitates the animal you are hunting, and the useful distinction is how it is driven: mouth and diaphragm calls leave both hands free, friction calls – slate, glass, box – are worked with a striker, and tube calls project further at the cost of subtlety.
Calling well is a learned skill and the call is the easy part. Start quiet, call less than you think you should, and stop once an animal is committed and coming – most are turned by being over-called at close range, not by the wrong note.
