The SOG S.O.G Terminus Xr Lte features a 2.95" Cryo CPM S35VN Steel blade, clip point, plain edge, G-10 handle, black finish.
The blade is Cryo CPM S35VN Steel, a refined powder steel that keeps the edge retention of S30V while being meaningfully easier to sharpen. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate: light, dimensionally stable, and grippy even wet.
Around three inches is the everyday carry sweet spot – long enough for boxes, cord, food prep and general utility, short enough to disappear in a pocket.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 2.95" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm. Keep the blade dry and the pivot clean, and touch the edge up on a strop or fine stone before it gets properly dull – it is far less work than bringing back a blunt edge.
