Description
The Spyderco C11P Delica 4 folder features a 2.95" VG-10 stainless blade, clip point, plain edge, stainless handle.
The blade is VG-10 SS, a Japanese high-carbon stainless that takes a very fine edge, holds it well, and resists corrosion – a long-standing favourite for folding knives. Stainless scales are durable and easy to clean, though heavier than polymer.
Around three inches is the everyday carry sweet spot – long enough for boxes, cord, food prep and general utility, short enough to disappear in a pocket.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 2.95" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm. Keep the blade dry and the pivot clean, and touch the edge up on a strop or fine stone before it gets properly dull – it is far less work than bringing back a blunt edge.
The all stainless version of their popular Delica came on board in 1996. It is slightly beefier and provides a sense of solidity yet does not feel like you are carrying a heavyweight.
