RUG PREC RIM RFL BA 22M 15RD

Description

The Ruger / Sturm, Ruger & Co. Precision Rimfire is a bolt action in .22 WMR with an 18" barrel, a 1:14 twist and 15-round capacity.

Rimfire velocity peaks in the high teens of barrel length, so a barrel this short gives up very little and keeps the rifle light and quick to handle. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.

The .22 WMR is commonly chosen for small game and varmints. It bridges the gap between .22 LR and a centerfire varmint round.
