Description
The Aimshot 223 LSR Boresight is a boresighter.
A boresighter gets a new optic roughly onto the paper before you fire a shot, by aligning the sight with where the barrel is actually pointing. On a rifle that would otherwise take a dozen rounds to find the target, it saves most of them – which on anything belt-fed by the wallet is the whole point.
IT IS NOT A ZERO. Boresighting puts you on the paper; it does not account for your load, your distance or your hold. Always confirm the zero by shooting a group at the distance you intend to use, and adjust from there.
Laser types sit in the chamber or the muzzle and must match the calibre; magnetic and arbor types index off the muzzle instead and cover a range of bores. Check which your rifle takes before ordering.
