A ground blind is a fabric hide on a collapsible frame. It breaks up the hunter's outline and contains movement and scent better than open ground, which is what lets you draw a bow or shift position without being picked up.
Footprint and standing height are the two numbers that matter: the floor decides how much gear and how many people fit, and the height decides whether you can shoot seated or standing. Shooting windows and how quietly they open vary by model.
