Description

APEX AMMUNITION 12 gauge shotshell, 3" shell, #3 shot.

This is a 3" shell. Shell length has to match the chamber – a longer shell will not chamber safely in a shorter chamber, and the length is stamped on the barrel.

Smaller shot numbers mean larger pellets; larger numbers mean smaller pellets and more of them, which gives a denser pattern. Sizes in the 7.5 to 9 range are the usual choice for clays and small birds.
