ATM 223 77GR SUB HPBT 50RD

Description

Atomic ammunition, 77 grain match, 50 rounds per box.

Match construction – made to tighter dimensional tolerances than general purpose ammunition. These are target bullets and are not designed around expansion.

The base is a boat tail – tapered rather than flat. That reduces drag behind the bullet, so it holds velocity better over distance than a flat-based bullet of the same weight.

Bullet weight is given in grains; there are 7,000 to the pound, so this one weighs 77 grains. Within a calibre a heavier bullet generally leaves the muzzle slower and carries its velocity further, while a lighter one starts faster and sheds speed sooner.

Ammunition is not a firearm and ships directly to you, though some states and cities restrict ammunition shipments or require a licence or permit. Check your local rules before ordering – if you are unsure, ask us first.
