The Auto-Ordnance 1911 Red Tails Full is a semi-auto in .45 ACP with a 5" barrel and 7-round capacity plus one chambered.

This is a full-size handgun barrel length – more velocity and a longer sight radius than a compact, in exchange for size.

The .45 ACP is commonly chosen for range use, competition and carry. A large, slow bullet with mild muzzle blast; magazines hold fewer rounds than a comparable 9mm.
