The Auto-Ordnance M1 Carbine is a semi-auto in .30 Carbine with an 18" barrel, a 1:16 twist and 10-round capacity.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles. It comes with yes sights.
