AUTO-ORDNANCE – THOMPSON 1927A-1C 45CAL LT WT 50RD DRUM

Description

The Kahr Arms AUTO-Ordnance Thompson is a semi-auto rifle in .45 ACP with an 18" barrel, a 1:16 twist and 50-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles. It comes with blade front/rear adjustable sights.

The .45 ACP is commonly chosen for range use, competition and carry. A large, slow bullet with mild muzzle blast; magazines hold fewer rounds than a comparable 9mm.
