The Barrett Firearms MK22 MOD0 CB is a bolt action in .300 Norma Magnum with a 26" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 10-round capacity plus one chambered.
A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles. It comes optic ready, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.
Bolt actions are commonly chosen for hunting and target shooting, where the simpler mechanism and rigid lockup are valued.
