The Bergara B-14 Series is a bolt action in .22-250 Remington with a 20" barrel, a 1:9 twist and 4-round capacity.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.
The .22-250 Remington is commonly chosen for varmints and predators at long range. High velocity and a flat trajectory, at the cost of barrel life.
