The Bergara B-14 Series is a bolt action in .22-250 Remington with a 24" barrel, a 1:9 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor. It comes drilled & tapped, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.

The .22-250 Remington is commonly chosen for varmints and predators at long range. High velocity and a flat trajectory, at the cost of barrel life.
