The Bergara Rifles B-14 Wilderness Ridge is a bolt action in 6.5mm Creedmoor with an 18" barrel, a 1:9.50 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize. It comes drilled & tapped, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.
The 6.5mm Creedmoor is commonly chosen for long-range target shooting and deer-sized game. It became the default precision cartridge because it delivers high-BC bullets with modest recoil and good barrel life.
