Bergara Rifles B14L002L B-14 Timber 270 Win 4+1 24″ Graphite Black Cerakote Barrel, Graphite Black Cerakote Steel Receiver, Walnut Monte Carlo Stock, Left Hand

Description

The Bergara Rifles B-14 Timber is a bolt action rifle in .270 Winchester with a 24" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

This is a left-hand action: the bolt handle and ejection port are on the left side, laid out for a left-handed shooter. A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes drilled & tapped, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.

The .270 Winchester is commonly chosen for deer, antelope and open-country hunting. A long-standing flat-shooting hunting cartridge.

Bergara's B-14 Timber Rifle is ideal for serious big-game hunters. It has a 4140 CrMo steel barrel, which features a black cerakote finish, and is drilled and tapped. The Monte Carlo style walnut stock has a raised comb and cheek piece along with bedded integral pillars for stability and enhanced accuracy. The stock is also finished with multiple coats oil. Its super-smooth B-14 Action, is a two-lug system with a Sako-style extractor and a coned bolt nose and breech to ensure a smooth feeding and extraction of the cartridge. It's also outfitted with a Bergara curved trigger to guarantee a crisp, clean pull every time you fire the rifle. This 270 Winchester model has a 24" barrel which is also compatible with Remington 700 sytle rings and bases. It has a hinged floor plate magazine.
