The Birchwood Casey Cleaning Rod 22 Cal is a cleaning tool for 22 Cal.

Bore tools are sized to the bore. A brush or jag has to match the calibre – too small does nothing, too large will jam in the barrel.

Clean from the chamber toward the muzzle where the design allows it. Dragging a rod back and forth across the crown – the last fraction of an inch of rifling at the muzzle – is one of the few ways cleaning can measurably harm a barrel.
