Description
The Blue Force Gear Ten-Speed is a magazine carrier – the companion to a holster rather than a holster itself. It carries a spare magazine on the belt, normally on the support side opposite the pistol.
A spare magazine is carried for two reasons: to reload, and because the magazine is the part of a self-loading pistol most likely to cause a stoppage. Carriers are generally sized to a magazine body – single-stack or double-stack – rather than to one pistol, so a carrier cut for one double-stack 9mm magazine commonly takes others of the same width.
Nylon is the lightest and least expensive of the common materials. It is soft-sided, so it is generally sized to fit a range of similar pistols rather than moulded to one.
