The Barnes VOR-TX is a reloading bullet, 65 grain.
A bullet is the projectile alone – no case, no powder, no primer. It is one of the four components a handloaded cartridge is built from.
Two numbers decide whether a bullet suits a rifle: its weight in grains and its diameter. Diameter has to match the bore exactly, and cartridges that share a name do not always share a bore – 9mm bullets come in .355 and .356, .38 and .357 both take .357, and a few thousandths out is not a small error. Weight has to suit the barrel's twist rate, since a heavier bullet is a longer one and needs a faster twist to stabilise.
Work from published load data for the exact bullet, powder, primer and case you are using. Components that look interchangeable are not – swapping one for a similar one changes pressure, and that is where handloading goes wrong.
