Description
The Browning X-Bolt 2 is a bolt action in 7MM PRC with a 24" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.
A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.
The 7MM PRC is commonly chosen for open-country hunting at extended range. Flat trajectory and substantial energy, with recoil to match.
This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.
With the Browning X-Bolt 2 Medallion experience total accuracy and the extreme elegance. This bolt-action hunting rifle features a AAAA white maple stock with rosewood caps and a gloss finish. Gloss blued receiver with scroll engraving. Sporter-weight barrel with radial muzzle brake. X-Lock Scope Mounting System uses four screws per base for rock-solid attachment to the receiver.
