Browning 036115294 X-Bolt 2 Special LR Full Size 6.5 PRC 3+1 24″ Matte Stainless Threaded Barrel, Matte Stainless Steel Drilled & Tapped Receiver, Black Adj Comb & LOP Synthetic Stock Right Hand

Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Special Lr is a bolt action in 6.5 PRC with a 24" barrel, a 1:7 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor.

The 6.5 PRC is commonly chosen for long-range hunting. It pushes 6.5mm bullets faster than Creedmoor, trading barrel life and recoil for reach.
