Browning 036120229 X-Bolt 2 Special Max LR SPR Full Size 300 Win Mag 3+1 26″ Matte Stainless Heavy Sporter Threaded Barrel, Matte Stainless Stainless Steel Drilled & Tapped Receiver, Black Adjustable

Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Special Max is a bolt action in .300 Winchester Magnum with a 26" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor.

The .300 Winchester Magnum is commonly chosen for elk, large game and long-range work. Significant energy at distance, and significant recoil with it.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.

Browning X-Bolt rifle optimized for precision hunting, long-range target shooting and competition. Featuring a heavy sporter, threaded barrel; adjustable DLX Target trigger; extended bolt handle, and adjustable Max composite stock. Includes three swivel studs and thread protector.
