Browning 036121294 X-Bolt 2 Special Max LR SPR Full Size 6.5 PRC 3+1 20″ Matte Black Heavy Sporter Threaded Barrel, Matte Black Steel Drilled & Tapped Receiver, Flat Dark Earth/Black Adjustable Max Sy

Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Special Max is a bolt action rifle in 6.5 PRC with a 20" barrel, a 1:7 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor.

The 6.5 PRC is commonly chosen for long-range hunting and precision shooting. It pushes 6.5mm bullets faster than Creedmoor, trading barrel life and recoil for reach.

Browning X-Bolt rifle optimized for precision hunting, long-range target shooting and competition. Featuring a heavy sporter, threaded barrel; adjustable DLX Target trigger; extended bolt handle, and adjustable Max composite stock. Includes three swivel studs and thread protector.
