The Browning X-Bolt 2 Special Max is a bolt action in 6.5 PRC with a 20" barrel, a 1:7 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor.

The 6.5 PRC is commonly chosen for long-range hunting. It pushes 6.5mm bullets faster than Creedmoor, trading barrel life and recoil for reach.
