Browning 036122297 X-Bolt 2 Special Max LR SPR Full Size 300 PRC 3+1 22″ Matte Black Heavy Sporter Threaded Barrel, Matte Black Steel Drilled & Tapped Receiver, OD Green/Black Adjustable Max Synthetic

Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Special Max is a bolt action rifle in .300 PRC with a 22" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.

The .300 PRC is commonly chosen for elk, large game and long-range work. Significant energy at distance, and significant recoil with it.

Browning X-Bolt rifle optimized for precision hunting, long-range target shooting and competition. Featuring a heavy sporter, threaded barrel; adjustable DLX Target trigger; extended bolt handle, and adjustable Max composite stock.Includes three swivel studs and thread protector.
