Browning 036143229 X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR HD Full Size 300 Win Mag 3+1 22″ Burnt Bronze Cerakote Fluted Threaded Barrel, Burnt Bronze Cerakote Steel Drilled & Tapped Receiver, Bronze/Gray Camo Adj Vari-Te

Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed SPR is a bolt action rifle in .300 Winchester Magnum with a 22" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor.

The .300 Winchester Magnum is commonly chosen for elk, large game and long-range work. Significant energy at distance, and significant recoil with it.
