Browning 036115298 X-Bolt 2 Special LR Full Size 7mm PRC 3+1 24″ Matte Stainless Threaded Barrel, Matte Stainless Steel Drilled & Tapped Receiver, Black Adj Comb & LOP Synthetic Stock Right Hand

Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Special LR is a bolt action rifle in 7MM PRC with a 24" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The 7MM PRC is commonly chosen for open-country hunting and precision shooting at extended range. A modern cartridge designed around long, high-BC bullets – it is used as much on paper at distance as it is on game.
