BROWNING X-BOLT 2 SPEED LR – 6.8 WST 26″ OVIX SMOKED BRNZ*

Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed LR is a bolt action rifle in 6.8 Western with a 26" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 3-round capacity.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize. It ships without iron sights, so plan on an optic and a way to mount it: a red dot or holographic sits on a rail, a scope needs rings and a base, and a rifle with neither needs a mount first.

A bolt action locks the cartridge up rigidly and repeatably, which is what makes it the accurate choice for hunting and target work – there is no gas system or reciprocating carrier moving while the shot breaks.
